Our dependent had wisdom teeth removed of which we paid quite a bit out of pocket for. Now Delta denied basic preventative cleaning coverage because benefit is maxed out.

They won't keep up with the dentist offices around town and expect their customers to accept only receiving a percentage of a percentage on reimbursement. This company is a joke and I'll be pushing to uavr them dropped and replaced at the next work meeting. I've payed almost $2,000 and only received $140 as reimbursement. I recommend anyone looking for insurance to shop elsewhere.

I don't know who has worse service—Delta Dental or Christopher Nelis. Six months ago, I filed a claim because I was charged nearly $400 for two dental cleanings. The insurance company told me that the dental office already had the billing details and would refund my money; however, the dental office told me they hadn't received anything. Who am I supposed to believe? What terrible service! Money is deducted from my insurance coverage every week—is it the dentist, Christopher Nelis, who is keeping my money, or is it Delta Dental? Both services are absolute garbage.

Wrote them an e-mail two weeks ago, and still have not heard ANYTHING other than an automatic generated reply. Still on hold waiting to talk to a human about cancelling my insurance plan after 20 minutes.

While Delta Dental does not cover more than a small % of my dental care each year (which sucks), I am rating them 5 for the customer service I just recieved from Tiffany. She was fantastic to work with over the phone and answered all of my questions. I needed to be reissued payments for multiple expired checks and she made it simple and easy.
